Unpredictable Yet Satisfying
Apparently, things can turn out to be unpredictable without displaying any noticeable signs or warnings. Well, this goes same for my personal trimmer; it does not cease to stagger me from time to time. By now, you must be wondering what’s going on?
This is the same question that I always ask my trimmer when unexpectedly it goes down in the middle of the process (keeps me wondering every time whether I will go outside today half shaved 😁) despite being fully charged. However, it shows signs of life again after few seconds rejuvenating hope within me to the brim. Though this might be occurring owing to some technicalities, given that it is my partner for quite a while now, but I just want to hang onto it; we are more than friends now 😉.
Similarly, the first two weeks at Amal were quite unpredictable. I can recall that moment when I opened the very first PW and took a quick glance without much apprehension on its content/extent, shook my grounds when I literally started working on it at the last moment.
Although, I was able to finalize my submission prior to the deadline, but I definitely took some takeaways out of it and worked my way towards bridging those gaps. These two weeks seemed hectic yet satisfying. It gave me a foretaste of how I must manage my work professionally while also keeping personal affairs intact.
Having classes through online platforms was a new challenge that I was willing to embrace after continuous disappointment by the pandemic. Although, I was embryonically aware of the basics of these online platforms, but these two weeks built my confidence extensively, and I was able to gain good command over it. Plus, I was able to grasp the know-hows of not one but more than one platforms by experimenting it during group meetings (Zoom, Google Meet, MS Teams & so on).
Personally, in this journey, I became mindful of embracing change, molding myself to market demands/needs and open to new opportunities. And, this is what I am looking forward to carry along in my life; to move out of my comfort zone to take on new challenges and opportunities.
And yes, this experience was similar to my trimmer; unpredictable yet satisfying at the end ✌😊.
